i hated skincare. so i made some.

look — somewhere along the way, skincare got out of hand.

twelve products. seventeen steps. a serum for morning, a 
different serum for night, a third serum for "in between."

it's deranged.

i built halve because i watched my mom waste years and 
thousands of dollars on skincare that didn't work.

she's 54. her bathroom cabinet has 14 products in it. she 
uses three. the other eleven sit there because someone in a 
glossy ad told her she needed them, and now they're just 
guilt.

i watched her get sold to for years. the "anti-aging 
breakthrough." the "transformative serum." the "miracle in 
a bottle." none of it worked. all of it was expensive.

so i made halve. two products. one peptide moisturizer for 
the face. one peptide eye cream for the part that gives 
you away when you've been up since 5 a.m.

i used the same actives the $200 creams use — copper 
peptides for the face, acetyl tetrapeptide-5 for the eye 
area. i priced them like normal products instead of luxury 
ones. i didn't add fragrance, alcohol, or anything that 
makes sensitive skin angry.
